This kind of raw material 42CrMo4 with higher S comtent than the standard, the standard 42CrMo4 only with around 0.005% S content, but our customer made 42CrMo4 materail with the higher S contents 0.02% than the standard, the higher S content can improve the machinability, it is the benifits for tools when broaching the gear rings.

In additionally, according to our customer¡¯s demands, every raw material bars in 42CrMo4 must be tested by magnetic particle, chemical analysis ,grain sizes , cleanliness and hardenability.
